Your Garden City Smile Could Make History

added on: September 7, 2012

There have been a number of interesting characters who were dentists.

There have been a number of interesting characters who were dentists. Paul Revere was one – he made a silver and ivory dental bridge for Dr Joseph Warren, a general in Washington’s Army during the War of Independence. Doc Holiday, one of the most deadly gunfighters of the Old West, was another, receiving his DDS from the Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. Even Edgar Buchanan, the American actor best known for his role as Uncle Joe Carson from the Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and Beverly Hillbillies sitcoms of the 1960s was a dentist. While I am not famous, or planning to give up dentistry for a career as an actor or gunslinger, I’d like to be an important part of your life! I think smiles are so important – and who knows, maybe one day your smile will make history!
